Learning More About WiX

Windows Installer XML (WiX) is the core technology used by Nimbus to build driver installers for both 32-bit and 64-bit environments. WiX is a freely available toolset that builds Windows installation packages from XML source code and is in widespread use today for some of the largest commercial source-code-base products, such as Microsoft Office, Visual Studio, and SQL Server.

Nimbus currently uses WiX version 3.11.
